Advocacy & Event Planning

Large indoor event space set for a community gathering, with round tables dressed in white linens, red chair sashes, and a stage prepared for a cultural event.
  • We offer full-service planning for cultural events, community gatherings, workshops, and organizational celebrations. Services include logistics, agenda development, Elder coordination, honoraria support, accessibility planning, vendor management, hosting, and post-event reporting. Everything you need to ensure your event is meaningful, organized, and grounded in community values.

  • We plan, coordinate, and deliver meaningful community events that honour culture, strengthen identity, and bring people together in safe, culturally grounded spaces. Every event is guided by respect, protocol, and trauma-informed practice.

  • We work alongside communities to amplify their voices in policy, education, governance, and social systems. This may include policy review, community mobilization, strategic planning support, navigating government processes, or speaking on behalf of organizations when appropriate. Our advocacy is always grounded in Mi’kmaq sovereignty, First Voice, and relationship-centered practice.

  • With a deep commitment to Mi’kmaq language, ceremony, and cultural teachings, we support initiatives that promote revitalization, preservation, and community-led leadership. This includes advocacy around language programs, cultural education, and culturally grounded service delivery.
